Potato Ranch Update - 29 Plants

Here's the latest with the potato ranch. We have 3 rows. In front are the youngest plants. In the back are the oldest, and hopefully soonest to harvest. In the middle are the halfway grown plants. After taking the photo, we were motivated and planted 2 more containers of spuds. Happy Gardening!!! Stay Cool.

  1. I'm so impressed with your potato routine. The three pots I planted are almost ready to be dumped. I wonder if they will have any potatoes in them, it will be interesting to see how they did...I might even dump one today. What a great idea.

  2. Mr. H. Thanks. So far so good. It's funny how the plants catch up to each other. Once the buds break the surface of the ground, they try to match the size of the others. I can't wait to see how your containers worked. My first time dumping it out, I was stunned because they were so beautiful.

  4. Interesting way of growing potatoes. I'd like to try it. What size containers are you using and what soil? I should be able to do that in my garden here in Huntington Beach. --Lou
