Watermelon Spotted
Today Lil Bro and Dad spotted the first watermelon. It is so tiny. We look forward to watching it grow "as big as a Magna Guard star fighter." Maybe it will grow as big as R2D2. Who knows?

ReplyDeleteI may try my hand at veggies next year, we may not even have space actually, now that I think of it. We're moving to the Chicago area next summer and quite possibly smack dab in the middle of Chicago city itself. So..we'll see.
ReplyDeleteHow did the cucumbers taste ? We've had so many amazing,beautiful blooms on the squash plant, but no fruit. They appear to bloom and then die a moldy looking death, it's quite sad and strange.
Hope the family had a good weekend ! One more week down, whew !
That is so exciting and I look forward to seeing the end result, hopefully it will as big as a Magna Guard but truth be told I don't really know what a Magna Guard is...nerdy I know.
